AID – Who are we?

Association for India 's Development (AID) is a volunteer movement committed to promoting sustainable, equitable and just development. In solidarity with non-violent people's struggles, AID supports grassroots organizations in India and initiates efforts in various interconnected spheres such as education, livelihoods, natural resources, health, women's empowerment and social justice. AID is registered with the US Federal Government as a non-profit charitable corporation under category 501(C)(3). Its federal Tax-ID is 04-3652609.

Presently AID has about 35 chapters in USA and Canada and 6 active chapters in India. We also work in collaboration with various NGOs on developmental projects in India.
